EyeCanDo is an application designed to facilitate eye gaze-based communication for individuals with limited mobility and communication abilities due to disability. This innovative tool allows users to navigate the app entirely through eye movements, enabling them to request assistance, compose messages, and even engage with music.

The initial setup of the EyeCanDo app on your iPad or iPhone requires precise positioning of the device. It is essential to ensure that the device is directly in front of your face, maintaining a steady gaze on the activation button to enter the application.

Following the setup, calibration is necessary to optimize performance. Users are prompted to track moving blue dots during this process, clicking the back button upon completion. Once calibrated, users will access the main interface of EyeCanDo where a variety of functionalities await.

• Text to Speech: This feature includes built-in phrases that express feelings, needs, or basic responses. When a user selects an item with their gaze, a speech synthesizer vocalizes the corresponding sentence.
• Music: Users can select and control music from their Apple Music library using eye gaze.
• Emergency: Activating this option triggers the playback of a siren sound, functioning as a signal for emergency assistance.
• Typing: The app incorporates a virtual keyboard that allows users to type by directing their gaze.
• Settings: Customization options are available, enabling users to adjust brightness and volume according to their preferences.
